Intermsofdesign,thenewOlaS1ProelectricscooterlooksquiteidenticaltotheolderOlaS1Proelectricscooter.However,acloserlookrevealsthattheOlaS1ProGen2sportsamorepracticalflatfootboardandtubularreargrabhandle.

Thesechangeshavebeenmadepossibleduetoanewhybridchassisthatreplacedtheoldertubularframe.However,theunderseatstoragehasnowbeenreducedby2litrestojust34litres.

AspartoftheimprovementsintheOlaS1ProGen2,thecompanyhasheavilyresortedtosimplificationofcomponents.ThisincludesamoresimplifiedelectricmotorwithanintegratedMotorControlUnit(MCU).

OlaElectrichasalsoworkedtoreducethenumberofcomponents,andtheECUcomponentshavealsobeenreduced.Asaresult,thewiringdiameterhasalsobeenreducedby40percent.Alloftheseinternalchangescontributetoreducedenergyconsumptionandimprovedperformance.

Speakingaboutperformance,theOlaS1ProGen2electricscooternowsportsanewelectricmotorwith11kWperkpower.Asaresult,themodelcanaccelerateto40km/hinjust2.6secondsandhasatopspeedof120km/h.

Furthermore,thecertifiedrangeoftheOlaS1ProGen2electricscooterisratedas195kilometres.Also,usingahomecharger,thescootercanbechargedto100percentcapacityinjust6.5hours.
