In Partnership with Cartier

More than a century after it was first crafted for pioneering aviator Alberto Santos-Dumont, the Santos de Cartier remains the epitome of the modern timepiece. Embodying Cartier’s perception of time as cyclical rather than linear, it’s a perfect demonstration of the Maison’s unending process of transformation and reinvention. Combining geometric lines, a clean design and the tireless pursuit of technical innovation, the Santos de Cartier remains an undisputed icon of the watchmaking world, every bit as essential and forward-looking in 2023 as it was when it first appeared in 1904.

Now, in order to continue that endless pursuit of reinvention, Cartier has boldly expanded the range by introducing large and medium references that pair an all-steel case with a gorgeous graduated deep green dial. Each dial combines an iridescent finish with a metallic shine, and the result is nothing short of mesmerising. Additional details include the stunning sapphire crystal, polished steel sword-shaped hands boasting a luminescent material, and a seven-sided crown set with a faceted synthetic blue spinel. Inside, you’ll find the 1847 MC automatic movement keeps things humming along just as elegantly as you’d expect from this storied watchmaker.

Finally, the new Santos de Cartier timepieces come equipped with a pair of interchangeable straps – steel folding buckle and green alligator skin. These can be easily swapped out using Cartier’s patent-pending QuickSwitch system, which is just as well because these are watches you’ll want to wear every day and for every occasion.

To discover more about these immaculate reinventions of a horological icon, be sure to visit Cartier’s boutiques located in Sydney, Melbourne, and Brisbane.

To celebrate its partnership with the McLaren Formula 1 team, Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Whiskey has released a limited-edition McLaren Racing bottle in Australia, with whiskey experts predicting each $80 700ml bottle could significantly increase in value as a collector’s item in the years to come.

The first in a highly-collectible series of exclusive releases, the limited-edition McLaren x Jack Daniel’s bottle is only available in select markets across the globe and features unique packaging to commemorate each brand’s pioneering founders – Jack Daniel’s and Bruce McLaren.

“This unique collaboration between Jack Daniel’s and McLaren gives whiskey and F1 fans a great opportunity to pick up a bottle to drink now and another to collect for the future. Given this bottle is a limited-edition offering, it’s highly likely it will rise in value in the years to come,” said Oliver Maruda, co-founder of Australia’s largest online whisky retailer, The Whisky List.

With just 2,000 cases available in Australia, the stock will be limited when the bottles hit shelves starting the second week of August 2023 via drinks retailers such as Dan Murphy’s linked below.

A fine fragrance for fine men, we don’t know what we love more about Millésime Impérial – the luxe bottle or the delicious scent. Housed within a boogie gold bottle that takes its form from the iconic Creed hip flask, this fragrance looks the part on any shelf. In terms of scent, you can expect top notes of bergamot and blackcurrant, middle notes of orris and salty marine accord, and a base of cedarwood, musk and sandalwood – alluring, timeless and just the right amount of spice to spruce up your winter hibernation.
